Portrait Drawing Classes
One and a half hour private one-to-one lessons are available during weekdays and some weekends in his studio in Foxrock, Dublin 18. 
The aim of the classes is to give participants at all levels of ability, the methods and techniques to create a lifelike portrait including the theory and practice to add depth, volume, atmosphere and life to portrait drawings. You will learn how to render realistic hair and create complex textures like skin with a layering approach, tonal value relationships, drawing details and working with different kinds of contrast to achieve a balanced visual interest. Students will draw from a detailed photograph during the classes and the skills learned can be used in the future for drawing any subject matter. Sometimes students wish to work on their own subject whether a family member or pet and that's fine too.
